The Christmas Dinner capped off the years events. – Lynn & Steve Nordt

Thanks to each of you for your support, planning and organizing these great event for us to enjoy. Now let’s hear from our 2016 President.

What a great way to end the Year! The “Cedars”, as usual, made our Christmas party perfect! The food was delicious, the house was beautifully decorated, and service was great!

There were 64 members present and a surprise visit by Christmas Carolers, Marsha Stepp, Angela Vaughn and Mary Ann Borganson leading the group in traditional carols.

Thank you so much to the Cedar’s staff and Lynn and Steve Nordt, for all their hard work arranging the party!

Our outgoing president, Hulon McCraw, gave a synopsis of last year’s activities and thanked everyone for their hard work. When it came time to present the Gustafson award to Dick and Tilly Jones I realized I had forgotten to bring the trophy with me to the party! Dick and Tilly were very gracious and we decided to present the trophy at the January meeting.

I would like to thank Hulon McCraw for all his hard work as the 2015 President, this is his fourth time as President of our club.  He is the founder and leader of GSMR AACA. And his leadership and tireless efforts are certainly appreciated.

The January 19thmeeting will be at our new location, the Apollo Flame Bistro, Located at 1025 Brevard Road, Ashville. Exit 33 off I-26 in the Centre at Biltmore Square, Across from the new ASHVIILE OUTLETS mall. We will have a private room with a private entrance that will seat 60 people. The fare ranges from salads to full meals featuring Greek Specialties, American fares, and pizzas. Prices range from $6 for a large Greek salad to $15 for a large pizza. The restaurant also serves wine and beer.

We will alternate Monthly meetings between the Apollo Flame Bistro on odd months, and at Bay Breeze Seafood Restaurant, Located on Ashville Hwy. in Hendersonville in even months.

Donut Derelicts meet every Saturday morning at 7:00 Am for breakfast at Nancy Lynn’s Diner in Mills River at the intersection of Hwy. 191 and Hwy 280 on the left next to the Marathon Service Station.

Happy motoring until we meet again. Please SUPPORT THOSE SUPPORTING US!

Respectfully, Mike Perry                                                                 Newsletter Editor,  Hulon McCraw
